How To Play Keyboard: A Complete Guide for Absolute Beginners by Ben Parker is This is a great teaching book. I am someone who has never really played piano nor do I even know how to read music but within an hour was able to play When the Saints Go Marching and know what notes I was hitting.
How To Play Keyboard: A Complete Guide for Absolute Beginners by Ben Parker is I like this although it is much more of a beginner's book than I though. It is not really written for electronic keyboards though, it is a piano book. I will buy a different book for my needs, which is how to play electronic keyboards. If you have any piano knowledge at all, this book will be far too easy for you and it does not describe keyboard playing at all.

It's easy to understand and learning short songs at first by using letters helps me become familiar with the keyboard. I'm now on the section on learning how to read music, so we will see how this goes! I would definitely recommend the book.
How To Play Keyboard: A Complete Guide for Absolute Beginners by Ben Parker is Having purchased a couple beginner’s guides to accompany a new keyboard, this was by far the easiest to follow and understand â€" the others I found a bit daunting for a complete beginner like myself. Nice, clear photos and diagrams, a good pace as I worked through the book, and very clear explanations about all the functions of my keyboard and how to incorporate the various rhythms and chords as I played. Highly recommended.
